How To Make Butter Bath Corn

Cooking your corn in water is out and cooking your corn in butter is in! Butter bath corn introduces a unique way to enhance the flavor of corn. By immersing the corn in a buttery bath results in a delicious and tender experience. Not to mention it takes less than 15 minutes to make and the ingredients are likely already in your kitchen!

Step One: Boil water

Begin by filling a large pot with 4 cups of water. Place the pot over medium-high heat and bring the water to a boil. Meanwhile, prepare 6 ears of corn by husking them and then halving each ear.
 

Step Two: Add milk, butter and salt.

Once the water has been brought to a boil, add 1 cup of milk, 1 stick of butter and 1 tsp. of salt.

Step Three: Optional: Flavor your butter bath!

Now the fun begins! Customize your butter bath by adding optional seasonings to infuse the butter with delightful flavors. Whether it be a spicy yet sweet twist featuring maple syrup and red pepper flakes or a savory blend of garlic and chive, butter baths have endless possibilities for any palette.
 

Step Four Add corn

Once milk, butter and salt, as well as preferred additional flavor ingredients, have been added carefully add the corn and reduce to a medium heat. Let boil for 8 minutes.
 

Step Five: Remove and enjoy!

Using tongs, remove the corn from the butter bath, serve and enjoy!
