Tips To Make The Best Fudge

A great fudge can elevate any occasion, and the good news is there are plenty of ways to whip up this bite sized treat! Whether you opt for the convenience of using a microwave or the precision of a candy thermometer, this fool-proof method ensures mouth-watering fudge that'll have everyone sneaking seconds.

Get Started

Step One: Line & Grease Pan

Line 9-inch square baking pan with foil and lightly grease with butter. Make sure to leave an overhang for easy removal once set.

Step Two: Combine Sugar, Butter and Milk

In medium saucepan, combine sugar, butter and evaporated milk. Set over medium-high heat and cook until boiling, stirring often, about 5 minutes.

Step Three: Add Chocolate, Marshmallow Fluff and Desired Flavoring

Remove from heat, and stir in chocolate and marshmallow fluff. The marshmallow fluff helps the fudge set and gives it a chewy texture. Then it’s time to get creative with your flavorings – this can be extracts, nuts, candies, etc.

Step Four: Pour into Prepared Pan

Once the mixture has cooled slightly, pour into prepared pan and spread out evenly.

Step Five: Add Toppings and Chill

Sprinkle top with additional toppings, as desired. Chill at least 1 hour, or until firm. Slice and serve. Leftovers can be kept in the fridge, wrapped in plastic, for up to 4 days.
